First edition, first printing. One of 100 hardback copies signed and numbered by the author and translator. Fine in near fine, slightly faded dustjacket. Poems in Spanish and English. Cut out by Jim Dine and photographs by Hans Ehrmann. This copy is unnumbered (probably a copy reserved for the author for personal distribution), but signed by Alastair Reid in black ink and also by Pablo Neruda in green felt pen. This copy is inscribed to Mario Vargas Llosa and Pablo Neruda has additionally drawn a couple of sketches on the second page of poems.
